Romantic Valentine’s Day Staycation

Plan The Perfect Date

Valentine’s Day is approaching and you’re probably looking to plan the perfect date that will remind your loved one just how great you are as a partner. You don’t have to plan an extravagant vacation to do Valentine’s Day right this year.  It doesn’t have to be just dinner either. This year with Valentine’s Day falling on a Friday, try extending the evening to a night stay or a weekend getaway.

Stay In Your Hometown

To get the romantic getaway feeling traveling offers, try staying at a hotel in your hometown. Pack a bag for one night (maybe two) and pat yourselves on the back- you’ve embarked on a memorable adventure together, and your romantic staycation didn’t even cost you the price of a flight.

Sure, you could organize an extensive Valentine’s Day getaway for your significant other, but with the holiday just around the corner and seasonal prices on the rise, you may want to think up an alternative.

There is no rule that says you have to leave the comfort of your own town to celebrate your love.  In fact, it would be even more special to honor your union the place where you spend most of your time together.
